Lasagna baking dish from East Texas Pottery in Marshall, Texas
East Texas Pottery is made and painted by hand through its entire process. This functional piece is trimmed in forest green with Pine trees painted on the bottom of the inside. Also has handles. Inside bottom of the dish is about 12" long and 7 3/4" wide, inside top of the dish is about 13" L x 8 1/2" W. Outside handle edge to handle edge is approx 17" long and 9 1/2" wide. Inside depth about 1 5/8", outside height about 2 3/8".
Unsure of the age, but the company has only been around a few decades that I can find and I think this is one of their earler pieces. It has overall crazing and a few small glaze chips on the bottom. The East Texas Pottery logo is impressed on the bottom. Comes in the original box.
Lasagna dish would also be perfect for casseroles or hot dishes, treats or cheesy potatoes. Wonderful addition to your collection or your Cabin dinnerware.
