Vintage souvenir plate of Niagara Cave in Harmony Minnesota.
Dating this in the 1950's due to the cars in the parking lot of the motel. Depiction of Niagara Cave Lodge in the center with floral and filigree adornment around. The filigree is continued on the gold rim. Back is marked Crest-O-Gold Warranted 22 K around an 'S' inside a painter's palette.
Plate is about 7 3/16" in diameter. Edge curves up, plate is about 3/4" deep. Very good vintage condition. There is one spot on the outer rim, 3/16", where the gold is worn off, cannot be seen from the front when held up. Gold has minor wear on the rim and surface scratching from storage. There are three small spots in the glaze on the back which I believe are from a plate stand or holder.
